Introduction

Natarajar

Thiruvasakam is a collection of Saivite devotional verses sung by Saint Manikkavasagar in about 600 A.D. Here I have interpreted the meaning of those verses in English. This is not a word to word translation but an interpretation  of the meaning of those Tamil verses. This is presented as a service to the younger generation of the Hindu community and others who are not versed in the Tamil language so that they can widen their knowledge about Saivite philosophies and develop an interest in spiritual matters.

The English meaning was written by Mr.R.Kurunathan. Any comments or errors can be communicated to him via e-mail address:  r.kurunathan@hotmail.com
